K.R. Alexander is the pseudonym for author Alex R. Kahler.

As K.R., he writes thrilling, chilling books for adventurous young readers, and has amassed a readership of millions. That’s a lot of very brave kids!

Alex has traveled the world collecting strange and fascinating tales, from the misty moors of Scotland to the humid jungles of Hawaii. He is always on the move, and always on the lookout for a creepy new story. But these books can’t be based off reality, can they?

When he isn’t writing, he can be found getting lost in the wilderness, playing video games, or reading one of the hundreds of books on his ‘to be read’ pile. He is always exploring and learning—whether that be within the pages of a book or in a new country or his own backyard.

Although Alex was born in the Midwest, he currently lives in Europe with his husband.
